It uses a 940nm VCSEL infrared laser to measure the time it takes for light to reflect off a target, providing accurate distance readings from 1mm to 1300mm with millimeter-level resolution. Featuring I2C communication, this sensor is easy to interface with microcontrollers and development boards—no soldering required.
