NEO-7M GPS Module with Compass The NEO 7 series introduces a remarkable GPS module with a built-in compass, known as the NEO-7M. It is a highly sensitive and energy-efficient module, featuring 56 channels that deliver precise position updates at an impressive rate of 10Hz. Encased in moulded plastic, this GPS module offers exceptional protection against various environmental factors, making it an excellent choice for aircraft and quadcopter applications. Equipped with an active circuitry ceramic patch antenna, the Neo 7M GPS module ensures superior GPS signal reception, surpassing the performance of its predecessors in the Neo 6 series. Moreover, it incorporates a rechargeable backup battery for HOT starts, allowing for quick and convenient initialization. Additionally, an I²C EEPROM is integrated into the module to store essential configuration settings. Out of the box, this GPS module comes preconfigured to operate at a baud rate of 38400, specifically tailored for compatibility with APM/Pixhawk systems. The package includes two cables: a 6-pin connector designed for the GPS module itself, and a 4-pin connector dedicated to the i2c compass.
