RepRap MK2B 3D printers Dual Power PCB HeatBed With 14AWG Cable (Red) A heatbed improves printing quality by helping to prevent warping. As extruded plastic cools, it shrinks slightly. When this shrinking process does not occur throughout a printed part evenly, the result is a warped part. This warping is commonly seen as corners being lifted off of the build platform. Printing on a heated bed allows the printed part to stay warm during the printing process and allow more even shrinking of the plastic as it cools below melting point. Heated beds usually yield higher quality finished builds with materials such as ABS and PLA. A heatbed can also allow users to print without rafts. This self-regulating heat bed provide a temperature controlled build platform ideally suited for printing with PLA or ABS. check out : 1.75mm Dark Blue ABS Filament -1Kg Connection: 12V connection: One cable connected to 1, another cable connected to a wire 2, 3 at the same time. At this time the resistance value of the two lines is 1.0 ~ 1.2, the actual power is 144W. 24V connection: One cable connection 2, another line connected to 3 (1 unconnected), the resistance value of the two lines is 4.0, actual power is 24 * 24/4 = 144W. The new version of the circuit, whether connected 12V or 24V, the power will stable at 144W. Test Report: 12V connection : Current is 9.8A, as the temperature increases, the current drops to 8.8A (physical tips: resistance becomes larger as the temperature rises) 24V connection : The theoretical maximum current is less than 5A. Features: Dual Power Capability: Can be powered by either 12V or 24V power sources. Dimensions: 214mm x 214mm (outer), 200mm x 200mm (active heated area). Material: 2-layer PCB with 35?m copper. Copper Plated Holes: Ensures better heat distribution and durability. Mounting: Features a central mounting hole for easier three-point mounting, which simplifies bed leveling. Resistance: Between 1.0 and 1.2 ohms. Power Output: Stable at 144W for both 12V and 24V connections. Cable: Comes with a 14AWG cable for reliable power transmission. Double-Sided: One side has no wiring, ensuring uniform heating and smooth printing Applications: 3D Printing: Provides a heated surface to improve print adhesion and reduce warping of printed objects. Prototyping: Used in rapid prototyping to ensure high-quality prints with minimal defects. Educational Projects: Ideal for use in educational settings to teach students about 3D printing technology. DIY 3D Printers: Popular among hobbyists and makers building their own 3D printers. Research and Development: Utilized in R&D labs for developing new 3D printing materials and techniques. Small-Scale Manufacturing: Suitable for small-scale production of custom parts and components.
