5mm Green Led (Pack of 10) A Green LED( Light-Emitting Diode) is a semiconductor light source which can create green lighting , LED's are used as indicator lamps in many devices and are increasingly used for other lighting. The series is specially designed for applications requiring higher brightness. When an appropriate voltage is applied to the LED terminal, the electrons within the device can recombine with the electron holes and release energy in the form of photons. This is referred to as electroluminescence. The energy bandgap of the semiconductor determines the colour of the LED. If you want to use these green LEDs in your project, there are some components which are helpful are resistors , jumper wires and breadboard
