2 Inch Water Flow Sensor YF - DN50 The YF-DN50 water flow sensor is a device that is used to measure the flow rate of water. It consists of a turbine-type rotor that is placed in the water stream, and as the water flows past the rotor, it causes the rotor to spin. The sensor measures the speed of the rotor and converts it to a flow rate. The sensor has a digital output, which means that it provides a digital signal that can be read by a microcontroller or other host device. The sensor is commonly used in applications such as irrigation systems, water treatment plants, and industrial process control. It is often preferred over other types of flow sensors because it is easy to install and has a low cost. The YF-DN50 sensor is designed to be installed in a pipe with a diameter of 50mm or 1.97 inches. The YF-DN50 water flow sensor is a large 2 inch diameter Water Flow meter Sensor that can be used to measure flow rate from 10 - 200 Liter/min This water flow sensor consists of a plastic valve body, a rotor assembly and a Half effect current sensor. As the water flows through this sensor the rotor rotates and the speed of it changes with changes in the rate of flow of water. The hall-effect sensor outputs the corresponding pulse signal. The output of the flow sensor is proportional to the water flow. The more the water flowing more are the pulses.
