1/8 Inch Water Flow Sensor YF-S401 The YF-S401 Water flow sensor is a small device comprising a plastic valve body, a water rotor, and a hall effect sensor. As water flows through the Water flow sensor, the internal rotator changes its speed in accordance with the rate of flow, and the hall effect sensor outputs a series of digital pulses. This allows the flow rate to be accurately measured using a microcontroller. This Water flow sensor is ideal for use with laser cutters or CNC machines to monitor the flow of water through the laser tube or spindle for cooling. This Water Flow Sensor has a flow rate of 0.3-6 litres per minute and outputs a pulse for every revolution of the pinwheel sensor. These pulses are approximately 2.25 millilitres each and can be easily counted to calculate the water flow. One of the key advantages of the YF-S401 Water flow sensor is that the hall effect sensor is sealed from the water pipe, ensuring it stays safe and dry. This makes it a reliable and accurate option for measuring water flow in various applications.
