BC548 NPN Transistor (Pack of 5) A BC548 transistor is a negative-positive-negative (NPN) transistor that is used for many purposes. Together with other electronic components, such as resistors, coils, and capacitors, it can be used as the active component for switches and amplifiers. Like all other NPN transistors, this type has an emitter terminal, a base or control terminal, and a collector terminal. In a typical configuration, the current flowing from the base to the emitter controls the collector current. A short vertical line, which is the base, can indicate the transistor schematic for an NPN transistor, and the emitter, which is a diagonal line connecting to the base, is an arrowhead pointing away from the base. Read our blog explaining the bc 547 transistor pinout , which provides comprehensive information about the BC547 transistor, covering its basic knowledge, pin configuration, features, working states, circuit diagrams, and applications.

555 Timer IC
IN STOCK

555 Timer IC The 555 timer IC is an integrated circuit (chip) used in a variety of timer, pulse generation, and oscillator applications. The ic 555 can be used to provide time delays, as an oscillator, and as a flip-flop element. Derivatives provide up to four timing circuits in one package. These 555 timer ICs are precision timing circuits capable of producing accurate time delays or oscillations. In the time-delay or monostable mode of operation, the timed interval is controlled by a single external resistor and capacitor network. In the astable mode of operation, the frequency and duty cycle can be controlled independently with two external resistors and a single external capacitor. The threshold and trigger levels normally are two-thirds and one-third, respectively, of VCC. These levels can be altered by the use of the control voltage terminal. When the trigger input falls below the trigger level, the flip-flop is set and the output goes high. If the trigger input is above the trigger level and the threshold input is above the threshold level, the flip-flop is reset and the output is low. The reset (RESET) input can override all other inputs and can be used to initiate a new timing cycle. When RESET goes low, the flip-flop is reset and the output goes low. When the output is low, a low-impedance path is provided between discharge (DISCH) and ground. The output circuit is capable of sinking or sourcing current up to 200 mA. The operation is specified for supplies of 5 V to 15 V. With a 5-V supply, output levels are compatible with TTL inputs. The NE555 is characterized for operation from 0°C to 70°C. This is characterized for operation from –40°C to 85°C. The NE555 is characterized for operation over the full military range of –55°C to 125°C. Features of the 555 timers are: Supply voltage between 4.5 and 18 volts. supply current 3 to 6 mA, and a Rise/Fall time of 100 nSec. IC 555 pin diagram The IC 555 is used in many circuits, for example, a One-shot pulse generator in Monostable mode as an Oscillator in Astable Mode or in Bistable mode to produce a flip/flop type action. 220µF 25V Electrolytic Capacitor 220µF 25V capacitor is a high-quality electrolytic capacitor with long service life and reliability. In electronic circuits, electrolytic capacitors are the most commonly used capacitors. Electrolytic capacitors uses an electrolyte to achieve a higher capacitance than other capacitor types. An electrolyte is a liquid or gel that contains a large number of ions. Almost all electrolytic capacitors are polarized, which means the positive terminal voltage must always be larger than the negative terminal voltage. They are usually marked with a band on cathode side of the capacitor indicating the negative terminal.

4700uF 25V Electrolytic Capacitor A 4700uF (microfarad) 25V electrolytic capacitor is a type of passive electronic component that stores electrical charge and is commonly used in electronic circuits for filtering, decoupling, and energy storage. It is called an electrolytic capacitor because it uses an electrolyte solution to store charge, which allows it to have a much higher capacitance than other types of capacitors. The voltage rating of 25V indicates the maximum potential difference (voltage) that the capacitor can safely handle without being damaged. Electrolytic capacitors have a few characteristics that make them different from other types of capacitors. They have a very high capacitance, which means they can store a lot of charge in a small size. They are also polarized, meaning that they have a positive and negative terminal and must be connected to a circuit in the correct orientation. Finally, they have a limited lifespan and may need to be replaced after a certain amount of time or number of charge/discharge cycles.

BC547 Transistor(Pack of 5) The BC547 transistor is a versatile negative-positive-negative (NPN) transistor that can be used for a multitude of purposes. It acts as the active component for switches and amplifiers when used alongside electronic components like resistors, coils, and capacitors. As with all NPN transistors, this transistor features an emitter terminal, a base or control terminal, and a collector terminal. The BC547 transistor is classified as a bipolar junction transistor (BJT), and there exist other types of transistors as well. For example, the junction field-effect transistor (JFET) features a single junction, while the metal oxide field-effect transistor (MOSFET) doesn't have any junctions at all. During the design and manufacturing of transistors, their characteristics can be predefined and achieved. The negative (N)-type material inside the NPN transistor contains an excess of electrons while the positive (P)-type material has a deficiency of electrons, both due to the doping process. This type of transistor is commonly used in general-purpose switching and amplification and is part of the BC847/BC547 series of 45 V, 100 mA NPN general-purpose transistors. Discover how Transistor BC547 powers your circuits. Features Advanced process technology Low error voltage Fast switching speed Full-voltage operation High power and current handling capability Read our blog explaining BC547 Transistor: Basic Knowledge, Pin Configuration & Features, provides comprehensive information about the transistor BC547.
