16-Channel Analog Multiplexer/Demultiplexer IC - CD4067 CD4067 CMOS analog multiplexers/demultiplexers are digitally controlled analog switches having low ON impedance, low OFF leakage current, and internal address decoding. In addition, the ON resistance is relatively constant over the full input-signal range. The CD4067 is a 16-channel multiplexer with four binary control inputs, A, B, C, D, and an inhibit input, arranged so that any combination of the inputs selects one switch. A logic “1” present at the inhibit input turns all channels off. 16MHz Crystal Oscillator - (Pack of 5) The 16 MHz crystal oscillator circuit sustains oscillation by taking a voltage signal from the quartz resonator, amplifying it, and feeding it back to the resonator. It provides clock pulses of 8 MHz frequency. The popularity of the crystals is due to the low cost. How are crystal oscillators useful? One of the most important traits of the crystal oscillator is that it exhibits very low phase noise. In the crystal oscillator, the crystal mostly vibrates in one axis, therefore only one phase is dominant. This property of low phase noise makes them particularly useful in telecommunications where stable signals are needed, and in scientific equipment where very precise time references are needed. The result is that a quartz crystal behaves like a circuit composed of an inductor, capacitor and resistor, with a precise resonant frequency. The crystal oscillator can be utilized as a UART clock (6×1.8432 MHz) and allows integer division to common baud rates. 1K 3386P Trimpot Trimmer Potentiometer (Pack of 5) 1k 3386P Trimpot is a high accuracy variable resistor and PCB mountable with 3 terminal pins. A general-purpose board mountable preset also called by other names like potentiometers, Trimpots, etc but is just a variable resistor. The voltage between the terminal varies as the trimpot is rotated. The Variable resistors are used for variating voltage as per the need in a circuit. The outer two pins are connected to Vcc and 0V, and the center pin outputs a variable voltage between 0v and Vcc as the rotary cermet is rotated. The potentiometer is easy to mount on a PCB and can be adjusted using a screwdriver. This potentiometer has a single turn, which can be used to preset a value.
