SmartElex RLS-08 Line Sensor Array with 8-Channel Analog & Digital Line Tracking The SmartElex RLS-08 Line Sensor Array is designed for building accurate and efficient line follower robots. It features 8 IR LED and phototransistor pairs that detect lines and edges with precision. Each sensor provides both analog and digital outputs, along with adjustable sensitivity via potentiometers, giving you better control for various lighting and surface conditions. This line tracking sensor uses high-quality TCRT5000 reflectance sensors, making it suitable not only for line-following applications but also as a general-purpose proximity or reflectance sensor. The LEDs can be turned off using a MOSFET switch to save power when not in use. Compact, reliable, and easy to interface, it’s perfect for students, hobbyists, and robotic projects.
