Powered by the Allegro MicroSystems ACS37800 power monitoring IC, it precisely measures voltages up to 60V DC and currents up to 30A, making it ideal for systems like 3D printers, UAV battery packs, battery charging circuits, and solar or photovoltaic setups. Its Hall-effect-based, galvanically isolated sensing technology ensures reinforced electrical isolation without the losses of shunt resistors or bulky transformers. This power meter provides real-time access to key electrical parameters through a digital interface and includes advanced features such as overcurrent detection, voltage fault reporting, zero-crossing detection, and user-configurable settings stored in on-chip EEPROM—delivering safe, efficient, and accurate power monitoring for modern electronic systems. Important note: The ACS37800's current channel has +/-0.1A RMS noise, making it unsuitable for low current applications. Sensing less than one amp? This is not the right product for you. Safety Information: Although the ACS37800 power monitoring IC can monitor AC power at high line voltages, the SparkX Power Meter is only suitable for Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) applications of up to 60VDC. Its usage in alternating current power systems is neither advised nor condoned.
