The geared motors are simple DC Motors featuring gears for the shaft for obtaining the optimal performance characteristics. They are known as Center Shaft DC Geared Motors because their shaft extends through the center of their gearbox assembly. These standard size DC gear Motors are very easy to use. Also, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to control motors with an Arduino or compatible board . TheL298N H-bridge module with onboard voltage regulator motor driver can be used with this motor that has a voltage of between 5 and 35V DC. This DC Motor of 12V 200 RPM can be used in all-terrain robots and a variety of robotic applications. 4-bit Bi-directional Shift Register IC - 74HC194 The 74HC Series 74HC194 bidirectional shift register is designed to incorporate virtually all of the features a system designer may want in a shift register; they feature parallel inputs, parallel outputs, right-shift, and left-shift serial inputs, operating-mode-control inputs, and a direct overriding clear line. The register has four distinct modes of operation, namely: Parallel (broadside) load Shift right (in the direction QA toward QD) Shift left (in the direction QD toward QA) Inhibit clock (do nothing) Synchronous parallel loading is accomplished by applying the four bits of data and taking both mode control inputs, S0 and S1, HIGH. The data is loaded into the associated flip-flops and appears at the outputs after the positive transition of the clock input. During loading, serial data flow is inhibited. Shift right is accomplished synchronously with the rising edge of the clock pulse when S0 is HIGH and S1 is LOW. Serial data for this mode is entered at the shift-right data input. When S0 is LOW and S1 is HIGH, data shifts left synchronously and new data is entered at the shift-left serial input. 4-Bit Binary Ripple Counter IC - 74HC93 The 74HC93 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS devices and are pin-compatible with low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). They are specified in compliance with JEDEC standard no. 7A. The 74HC Series 74HC93 are 4-bit binary ripple counters. The devices consist of four master-slave flip-flops internally connected to provide a divide-by-two section and a divide-by-eight section. Each section has a separate clock input (CP0 and CP1) to initiate state changes of the counter on the HIGH-to-LOW clock transition. State changes in the Qn outputs do not occur simultaneously because of internal ripple delays. Therefore, decoded output signals are subject to decoding spikes and should not be used for clocks or strobes. check out : 4 Bit Bi-Stable Latch IC - 74HC75 A gated AND asynchronous master reset (MR1 and MR2) is provided which overrides both clocks and resets (clears) all flip-flops. 4-bit D-type Registers with 3-State Output IC - 74HC173 The 74HC Series 74HC173 is a 4-bit register that includes D-type flip-flops featuring totem-pole 3-state outputs capable of driving highly capacitive or relatively low-impedance loads. The high-impedance third state and increased high-logic-level drive provide these flip-flops with the capability of being connected directly to and driving the bus lines in a bus-organized system without the need for interface or pull-up components. Up to 128 of the 74LS173 outputs can be connected to a common bus and still drive two Series 74LS TTL normalized loads, respectively. To minimize the possibility that two outputs will attempt to take a common bus to opposite logic levels, the output control circuitry is designed so that the average output disable times are shorter than the average output enable times. Gated enable inputs are provided on these devices for controlling the entry of data into the flip-flops. When both data-enable (G1, G2) inputs are low, data at the D inputs are loaded into their respective flip-flops on the next positive transition of the buffered clock input. Gate output-control (M, N) inputs also are provided. When both are low, the normal logic states (high or low levels) of the four outputs are available for driving the loads or bus lines. The outputs are disabled independently from the level of the clock by a high logic level at either output-control input. The outputs then present a high impedance and neither load nor drive the bus line. Detailed operation is given in the function table. The 74LS173 is characterized for operation from 0°C to 70°C.
