SmartElex AT42QT1010 Capacitive Touch Sensor Breakout The SmartElex AT42QT1010 Capacitive Touch Sensor Breakout is a compact and reliable capacitive touch sensor breakout designed to replace traditional mechanical buttons. Powered by the AT42QT1010 single-touch IC, it continuously monitors a conductive pad and detects touch from a human finger. When touched, the digital output goes HIGH and remains active as long as contact is maintained, returning LOW once released. This touch switch sensor breakout operates on an exact voltage range of 1.8V to 5V, making it compatible with most microcontrollers. It also features an internal 60-second time-out, automatically disabling the output if a touch is held too long, which helps prevent accidental triggering and reduces power usage. With an onboard touch pad and an optional PAD pin for custom electrodes, this breakout is perfect for smart controls, interactive projects, and modern touch-based interfaces.
