Dual Monster Moto Shield The Motor Driver Shield Monster Moto has been upgraded to the Dual Monster Moto Shield VNH3ASP30 DC Motor Driver 2x14A (Peak 30A). This new version features a pair of VNH3ASP30 full-bridge motor drivers, replacing the previous L298 H-bridge. The support circuitry has also been improved to allow for the driving of high-current motors.To make it easy to connect larger gauge wires, the VIN and motor out are now pitched for 5mm screw terminals (not included). The direction of each motor is controlled by INA and INB, while the PWM pins turn the motors on or off.The VNH3ASP30 is ideal for a variety of automotive applications and includes a dual monolithic high-side driver and two low-side switches. The high-side driver switch utilizes STMicroelectronics' VIPower M0 technology to integrate a Power MOSFET with intelligent signal/protection circuitry on the same die.Furthermore, the current sense (CS) pins on the VNH3ASP30 will output around 0.13 volts per amp of output current. All these features make the Dual Monster Moto Shield VNH3ASP30 DC Motor Driver 2x14A (Peak 30A) a powerful and versatile motor driver shield.
