Arduino MKR IoT Carrier Rev2 ABX00073
Arduino MKR IoT Carrier Rev2 ABX00073 Meet the Arduino MKR IoT Carrier Rev2, your go-to tool for creating exciting Internet of Things (IoT) projects easily. This carrier works with any board from the MKR family, so you don’t need extra parts to get started. Here’s what you can do with the MKR IoT Carrier Rev2: Build Environment Monitors: Use the built-in sensors to keep track of things like temperature, humidity, air pressure, and air quality. Monitor environmental changes and detect movement with ease. Using Grove connections, you can add more analog or I2C modules to your project. Data can be saved to an SD card or uploaded immediately to the Arduino IoT Cloud for real-time monitoring and analysis. Create Custom Interfaces: If you want to display sensor information or make your own controls, you can use the colorful OLED screen. This screen allows you to set up menus and options. Plus, you can use the LEDs and buzzer to give feedback and make your project more interactive. Control Devices: You can use the two built-in relays to manage electronic devices that use up to 24 volts. This means you can turn things like lamps on or off remotely using the Arduino IoT Cloud app. You can also use the data from the sensors to control these devices based on what’s happening in your environment. Differences between MKR IoT Carrier Rev2 and MKR IoT Carrier: Some changes have been made to the sensors and components in this updated version Some sensors have changed: The humidity sensor (HTS221) and the barometric pressure sensor (LP22HB) have been replaced with the new BME6688 sensor. The IMU (LSM6DS3) has been upgraded to the LSM6DSOX. Additionally, some components have been repositioned: A new reset button has been added. The relay connectors have been rotated 90°. The light sensor (APDS-9960) has been moved to a new position. The relay control pins have been changed to pins 1 and 2. The Grove connector assignment has shifted from pin A5 to pin A6.
