Spectra Symbol 12.7 mm Circular Force sensor
This is a force-sensitive resistor with a round, 0.5? diameter, sensing area. This FSR will vary its resistance depending on how much pressure is being applied to the sensing area.
The harder the force, the lower the resistance. When no pressure is being applied to the FSR its resistance will be larger than 1M?. This FSR can sense applied force anywhere in the range of 100g-10kg.
Two pins extend from the bottom of the sensor with 0.1? pitch making it bread friendly. There is a peel-and-stick rubber backing on the other side of the sensing area to mount the FSR. Just Connect a resistor to form a voltage divider and measure the voltage at the junction to find the force applied.
These sensors are simple to set up and great for sensing pressure, but they aren’t incredibly accurate. Use them to sense if it’s being squeezed, but you may not want to use it as a scale.
This sensor can be easily interfaced with Microcontrollers, Arduino Boards, Raspberry Pi, etc. using an Analog-Digital Converter (ADC).

This is DC To DC SSR-40DD 40A Solid State Relay Module offers an input of 3V-32V DC with an output voltage of 5V -200VDC at an output current of 40A. A solid-state relay (SSR) is simply an IC that functions as a mechanical relay. The only difference between this SSR with the mechanical relay is that there is no moving contact in a Solid-State Relay. This SSR allows us to control high-voltage AC loads from lower voltage DC control circuitry. This is achieved by using infrared light as the ‘contact,’. In short, a solid-state relay is just an IR LED and a photometric enclosed into a little box. Thus we make use of the Phototriac coupler to turn it ON and OFF.
Solid-state relays offer numerous advantages over mechanical relays. One such advantage is that they can be switched by a much lower voltage and at a much lower current than most mechanical relays. Also, as there are no moving contacts, solid-state relays switched much faster and for much longer periods without wearing out.
